Wow... After the storm comes the quiet and, it seems, the charity.

You HAVE to watch this video about a Hatian Restaurant owner and what he is doing for his fellow Haitians.

and....
Check out this video about an awesome man in New York who saved an 88-year-old woman who was pushed on the subway rail....

Everyone, well, most everyone, is willing to help another person out, but, the miracle with this incident is that the man literally risked his life without knowing the person or questioning it for a second. He also helped the crowd, because, in essence, they probably were frozen with fear knowing that they were faced with the same situation.

And, just for an added touch of "nice news" today, enjoy the image above of a team that risks their lives every day so that others may live.

Sooooo, many of you may have heard of the movie, The Blind Side, because of Sandra Bullock's starring role and the supplementary media attention.

That being said, how many of you watched the 20/20 episode about the true story behind the story?

Simply good story about good people at it's best and about the domino effect one good deed offsets.

The story and the show were so inspiring that, during the broadcast, several people called in and offered to cancel their holiday vacation plans and donate the money to the cause(s) addressed in the show.

Click here to get an overview of the show, and, of course, you can always go to Hulu.com to view it. Truly worth the hour.

Love Knows No Species

As you might guess, Yvonne and I are BIG animal fans.
One of the reasons for this is, of course, the unconditional love that they share.

As humans, sometimes we forget that race and gender and sexual orientation, religion or financial status just DON'T matter, but, boy does this story from a metro/uk online news source remind us just how silly we can be.

IT'S DOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
