For today's nice news, we thought we'd bring you something about an organization making a difference in the world. In looking around the web, we found that MSNBC is showcasing a People Making a Difference series and wanted to highlight one particularly noteworthy one on our blog today.
The Robinhood Foundation is a New York City-based organization that is targeting poverty by selecting several markedly successful non-profit organizations a year in which to endow with a major gift.
In other words, they are taking money from the rich and not only giving it to the poor, but offering money to individual organizations that are really out there helping the people in New York.
